Water Heater Replacement Bid
The board of education approved the bid of Superior Plumbing & Heating Co. in the amount of $28,202 for replacement of a water heater at Central High School.

The board of education approved the 2020-2021 Heartland Child Care Partnership contracts.
Mental Health Grant Request
The board of education approved the Mental Health Intervention Team Program grant request for projects that coordinate school-based services with a community mental health center.

Facility Use through Summer Recess 2020
The board of education approved that facility requests shall be limited to USD 305 employee requests and for the exclusive use of USD 305 students until Saline County has reached the phase out order. Exceptions include the natatorium at South High School and the districts’ outside facilities.
1-to-1 Technology
The board of education approved the 1-to-1 technology request for grades K-12 using Chromebooks beginning with the 2020-2021 school year.

Elementary Phonics – Units of Study
Tiffany Snyder, director of elementary programs, gave a report recommending that USD 305 adopt a phonics program for grades K-2. The recommended text is Units of Study – Phonics.

The board of education approved to continue to endorse the partnership with Salina Baseball Enterprises in lieu of the changes that have occurred as a result of COVID-19.
