Capri Myers








Capri Myers is a senior at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being the volleyball captain and a member of the soccer team. Outside of school, she participates in the Salina Junior Leadership, Excel and Relay for Life. Capri says the best part about school is her teacher, Mrs. Jett, because she always makes her day so much brighter. After graduating from high school, Capri plans on attending Fort Hays State University to major in nursing.

William Curtis






William Curtis is an eighth grader at South Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the assemblies, PBIS Rewards and community integration trips. William says the best part about school is seeing his friends and teachers everyday. After graduating from high school, William plans to work on vocational tasks and skills and take time to enjoy his hobbies.

Rocelyn Show








Rocelyn Show is a freshman at Salina Central High School. Outside of school, she coaches t-ball and little tikes at the YMCA and participates in various church activities. Rocelyn says she enjoys English the best at Salina Central because her teacher, Mrs. Patrick, is a very sweet and nice teacher and her class just makes her day so much better. After graduating from high school, she wants to attend Wichita State University and study dermatology. In her spare time, Rocelyn likes to draw and she is a competitive dancer at Revolution School of Dance where she has been dancing since kindergarten. Rocelyn says she has also achieved the academic award and her mother is an alumni from Salina Central.

Savannah Kochanowski






Savannah Kochanowski is a sixth grader at South Middle School. Savannah says she works hard to keep her grades up. Outside of school, she is a youth group fundraiser and attends youth group weekly. She says her favorite class is physical education because she gets to stay active and her favorite teachers are Mr. Allen and Mrs. Lumley. After graduating from high school, she hopes to be able to work at St. Jude. In her spare time, Savannah loves playing volleyball with her friends and family. She says she has eight brothers and four sisters along with three cats and two dogs.

 Teagan Martinez
 

Teagan Martinez is an eighth grader at Lakewood Middle School. Teagan participates in school activities by being a member of the Scholar's Bowl. He says he likes math at Lakewood Middle because it is a challenge and his teacher, Mrs. Thomas, is nice and understanding of her students. After graduating from high school, he plans on being a mathemetician.

Kendale Paul








Kendale Paul is a sophomore at Salina Central High School. Outside of school, Kendale volunteers at Salina Media Connection where he films Salina High School football, Boy Scouts, Salina indoor football and Friday night Salina Speedway races. He says he likes all of his classes and teachers at Salina Central and helping Mr. Cullins in ELO. After graduating from high school, Kendale is unsure what college he will be attending but would like to go into meterology. In his spare time, Kendale likes simulator racing (iRacing) and flight simulator.

Alina Arceo






Alina Arceo is a seventh grader at South Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the track team, orchestra, symphony and she used to participate in StuCo. Alina says she tries to show support and kindness to everyone. Outside of school, she helps at church and sings with her uncle's choir. The part about school she enjoys is that she gets to see her friends and teachers everyday. In her spare time, Alina loves to play soccer, the guitar, viola, piano, violin and she also loves to sing. She says she also has three dogs.

Adeline Ollenberger






 

Adeline Ollenberger is a senior at Salina South High School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the cheerleading squad, National Honor Society, band, school musicals and one act plays. She especially loves her chemistry classes because of the wonderful teachers. Outside of school, Adeline is a Salina Regional Health Center volunteer and works at Pet Life and Tucson's Steakhouse. After graduating from high school, she plans to attend KU to major in human biology. Adeline is a sister to David Ollenberger and Amelia Mall. She says she also has two cats.

 Nayeli Cervantes
 

Nayeli Cervantes is a sixth grader at Lakewood Middle School. Outside of school, Nayeli participates in playing volleyball. She says the best part about school is how they get to learn and do more things. After graduating from high school, Nayeli plans on attending college to become a veterinarian. In her spare time, she loves playing volleyball and her favorite animal are dogs.

Jillian DeVoe








Jillian DeVoe is a junior at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the volleyball and soccer team, National Honor Society and the newspaper. Outside of school, Jillian participates in Vacation Bible School. Jillian says her favorite subject at Central High is art with Mrs. Paradis because she always makes it a positive way to start her day. After graduating from high school, she plans to attend college and study speech and language pathology. In her spare time, Jillian enjoys spending time with her friends, family and two cats, Poopie and Jeffery.

Evie Sellers






Evie Sellers is an eighth grader at South Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the track team. Outside of school, Evie participates in youth group. She says the best part about school is seeing her friends and teachers and her favorite subject is math with Mrs. Dohm. After graduating from high school, she would like to attend Wichita State so she can be close to family. In her spare time, Evie loves to read and do art. She says she also has a green thumb.

Owen Bulleigh





 

Owen Bulleigh is a senior at Salina South High School. He participates in school activities by being the captain on the Cougar football team and is a member of the Cougar baseball team. Owen is also a big fan of the school's soy butter PB&J sandwiches. Outside of school, Owen is involved with Relay for Life and considers himself probably the greatest disc golfer and fisherman in Kansas. After graduating from high school, he plans to attend Manhattan Area Technical College to earn an Associate's Degree in Electric Power and Distribution. Owen is a brother to Colby and Jake.

Mari McEachin is a sixth grader at Lakewood Middle School. Outside of school, Mari participates in the XCEL Program. Mari says the best part about school is seeing and talking to his friends. He says he really wants to participate in Robotics.

Alexis Jasso is a senior at Salina Central High School. He says his favorite subject at Central High is math. In his spare time, Alexis says he likes to do a lot of Trockiando.

Saikham  Saekhow






Saikham Saekhow is a sixth grader at South Middle School. He says he tries to act a role model to other students by getting his assignments done in one day even though he had a week to get them done. Saikham says he likes band because his band director, Mr. Andres, has a very unique way of teaching and he has been a big inspiration for him. After graduating from high school, Saikham says he dreams of eventually living in Japan and attending college there. In his spare time, Saikham likes playing basketball and volleyball, watching anime, studying Japanese, cooking, playing the piano and video games.

 Katy Wagner
 

Katy Wagner is a sixth grader at Lakewood Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the band class. Outside of school, she attends Communion Class at her church. Katy says she likes school because in physical education they are always playing fun games. After graduating from high school, she would like to attend college to become a veterinarian. While in college, she also wants to play softball. In her spare time, Katy loves playing softball and basketball. She says she has 2 cats and a dog.

Lexi Stoffel








Lexi Stoffel is a freshman at Salina Central High School. She says her favorite subject at Central is math because to her it is so simple. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending Kansas State University to study to become a social worker. In her spare time, Lexi likes to read and draw. She says she has a medium to large family with lots of pets.







Tate Pommer






Tate Pommer is a seventh grader at South Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the cross country, basketball and track team. Outside of school, Tate attends First Covenant Church. He says he likes school because it keeps him on a schedule and he likes being around his friends. Tate says his favorite subject is social studies with Mr. Curry because he is funny and he likes learning about history. After graduating from high school, he plans on attending Kansas State University. Tate has a sister named Bristol and a yellow lab named Murphy.

Brandon Fletcher is a junior at Salina South High School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the football and wrestling team. Brandon says his favorite teachers at South High are Mrs. Gates and her JAG community service work and Mr. Seibel and his construction work. Outside of school, he enjoys going to the gym and playing paintball. After graduating from high school, Brandon plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corp. Brandon has a brother, James, and a sister, Janie.

 James MacKinney
 

James MacKinney is an eighth grader at Lakewood Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the basketball, football and wrestling team and also a member of the jazz band. Outside of school, James plays on the Salina Monarchs baseball team. James says he likes how there is so much room for activities at Lakewood. After graduating from high school, he wants to start a worldwide conglomerate that's the first word in entertainment, management and finance. In his spare time, James enjoys math and playing video games. He says he has 3 siblings and 2 dogs.

Paige Hinca








Paige Hinca is a sophomore at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the orchestra and she is also the girls' volleyball manager. Paige says she enjoys her English class at Central High because she enjoys writing. After graduating from high school, she would like to attend college but is unsure where at this time. In her spare time, Paige enjoys listening to music.

Destiny Gonzalez-Keophaymany is an eighth grader at South Middle School. Destiny says what she likes best about school is seeing her friends. She says her favorite teachers are Mr. Stewart and Mrs. Chrisman. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending college but is unsure of which college she would like to attend at this time.

Brandon Jeffries






 

Brandon Jeffries is a senior at Salina South High School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the Cougar band and was a captain on the Cougar wrestling team. His favorite class has been engineering where he has enjoyed learning and using the CAD software. After graduating from high school, Brandon plans to attend a university with the eventual goal of earning a Master's in Aerospace Engineering. Brandon has two siblings, Chloe and Ethan.

Mari Brown-Mereles is a seventh grader at Lakewood Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the band, jazz band and tennis team. Outside of school, Mari participates in dance and theatre classes at Salina Community Theatre. Mari says she always looks forward to going to band and jazz band and says her favorite class at Lakewood Middle is science. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending college but is unsure what she wants to major in at this time. In her spare time, Mari likes to paint and loves playing with her dog, Millie.

Starlet Parham








Starlet Parham is a junior at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the band, STUCO, Link Leaders, the VET squad, robotics and track. Outside of school, Starlet volunteers at Tony's Event Center. She says she likes English class because she is able to express herself through her writing. After graduating from high school, Starlet plans on attending college in Kansas to study psychology or law. Starlet says she also has a dog named Rocky.

Aryan Patel is a sixth grader at South Middle School. He says math is his favorite subject at South Middle and he enjoys all of this teachers equally. After graduating from high school, he plans on attending KU to pursue a pharmacy degree. In his spare time, Aryan likes to play basketball. He says his family consists of his brother, parents and grandparents.

Stella Gestl is a senior at Salina South High School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the Cougar bowling team. Stella says her favorite subjects at South High are English and science. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending Wichita State University to study veterinary science.  Aterronia Delaney
 

Aterronia Delaney is a sixth grader at Lakewood Middle School. She participates in school activities by helping to cheer at Lakewood Middle. Outside of school, Aterronia helps with the elderly and participates in the Garden Ambassador. Aterronia says she likes being able to challenge herself like her teachers make her do. She says physical education is one of her favorite classes and she also loves band and the teachers. After graduating from high school, Aterronia plans on getting a job and attending college. In her spare time, Aterronia likes running, reading, doing word searches, writing and sports. She would like to thank her aunt, Tiffany Cooper, for pushing her to be a leader.

Adrian Moreno is a senior at Salina Central High School. Outside of school, Adrian participates in his church activities and says since he is the oldest one, he always takes charge. He says his favorite class at Central High is speech with Mrs. Tackett because the class is never boring. After graduating from high school, Adrian says he plans on attending KU.

 






Elle Barth






Elle Barth is a seventh grader at South Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the volleyball and basketball team at South Middle. Outside of school, Elle participates in the Gravity Youth Group at First Covenant Church and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity where they go on medical mission trips and help organize supplies and equipment. Elle says she likes art, FACS and math class the most at South Middle and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Lee. After graduating from high school, she wants to attend K-State and study to become a pediatric surgeon. In her spare time, she likes playing basketball and soccer, traveling and babysitting. Elle lives with her parents and three siblings, Evie, Emory and  Eden.

Hannah Kipp is a senior at Salina South High School. At South High, Hannah works on the school newspaper, is a member of National Honor Society and competes on the Cougar tennis and soccer teams. She really enjoys participating in journalism because she would like to teach journalism in the future. After graduation, she plans on attending Kansas State University to study secondary education.

Ethan Johns is a sixth grader at Lakewood Middle School. Outside of school, he dances and volunteers at the Smoky Hill River Festival. Ethan says his favorite subject at Lakewood Middle is art because he loves to paint and draw. After graduating from high school, he is planning on joining the Marines. In his spare time, Ethan says he loves to play video games. He says he also has 2 cats.

Daisy Thouvenell is a freshman at Salina Central High School. Daisy says she likes art and math classes at Central High. After graduating from high school, she plans on owning her own eco-friendly coffee shop. In her spare time, Daisy likes watching Hulu and playing badminton. Daisy also says she loves dad jokes.

Denisse Sarabia Rodriguez is a sixth grader at South Middle School. Denisse says she enjoys social studies at South Middle because she likes learning about different cultures. After graduating from high school, she would like to be a therapist but is unsure of which college she will be attending at this time. In her spare time, Denisse likes skateboarding.

Abram Baier is a junior at Salina South High School. Abram is a member of the South High JAG program and works with JAG to find opportunities to give back to the community. He says he enjoys the support he receives from his teachers at South High. After graduating from high school, Abram says he is undecided on his plans yet but is currently exploring his options.

Kyllor Waggoner is an eighth grader at Lakewood Middle School. She participates in school activities by being an office aide at Lakewood Middle. Outside of school, Kyllor is active in Girl Scouts. She says she likes reading and history and participating in class at Lakewood and Kyllor says Mrs. Thomas is a very good teacher. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending college to become a veterinary technician. In her spare time, Kyllor loves hanging out with her family and friends. She says she loves animals and making people happy.

Alisha Will








Alisha Will is a sophomore at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the softball team and a member of band. Outside of school, Alisha is a member of Christ the King Church and senior youth group where they have been regularly volunteering at the food bank. Alisha says she loves art classes, playing in the band and her softball team which are like family to her. After graduating from high school, she would like to attend college to study graphic design but is undecided where at this time. In her spare time, Alisha loves to paint, do art projects and take pictures. She also loves going on runs with her corgi/schnauzer puppy, Max.

Mason Serocki is an eighth grader at South Middle School. Mason says he likes technical education class at South Middle because he enjoys learning about different tools and their uses. He also enjoys all the different kinds of projects they get to do. After graduating from high school, Mason plans on attending KWU. In  his spare time, Mason enjoys playing video games, riding his bike and spending time with his family.

Kyle Iselin is a senior at Salina South High School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the Cougar swim team where he enjoys being with his friends and being a part of the swim team. Outside of school, Kyle has worked at Family Animal Care and Ashley Home Store, volunteered at the Rolling Hills Zoo and volunteered in a local elementary classroom. After graduating from high school, Kyle plans on attending Barton Community College to study chemistry and join their swim team after which he would like to transfer to Kansas State. In his free time, Kyle enjoys fishing, swimming and kayaking. Kyle has 1 brother, Sean, and a dog named Penny.

Madison Berndt is a seventh grader at Lakewood Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the basketball and tennis team. Outside of school, Madison participates in Salina Youth Choir, takes classes at Salina Community Theatre and swims with SAC. Madison says she likes her classes the best at Lakewood because they are fun and she likes her teachers. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending college and traveling. In her spare time, Madison likes to read and also likes Star Wars. She says she loves her family and friends.

Lucas Nutter








Lucas Nutter is a junior at Salina Central High School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the tennis team, orchestra and the newspaper. Outside of school, Lucas teaches swimming lessons and is a lifeguard in the summer. He says his favorite classes are history and English because he enjoys reading and learning about the past. After graduating from high school, Lucas plans on attending college but is undecided where at this time. In his spare time, Lucas enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing with his dogs.

Aidan Speilman






Aidan Speilman is a seventh grader at South Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the baseball, football and basketball team and he also plays the guitar. Aidan says what he likes best about school is the amount of help he receives and his math class with Mrs. Armbrust. After graduating from high school, he hopes to get a baseball scholarship to LSU or Florida State. In his spare time, Aidan enjoys playing baseball.

Griffin Peterson is a senior at Salina South High School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the Cougar tennis team and the Cougar bowling team. Griffin's favorite part of high school has been the welding and woodworking programs. After graduation, he plans on attending Barton Community College. Griffin has 2 dogs and is a brother to Sydney and Campbell.

 Mitchell Haskett
 

Mitchell Haskett is a seventh grader at Lakewood Middle School. Outside of school, Mitchell participates in choir and bowling. He says he likes school because there are so many classes teaching him so many different things. Mitchell doesn't have any plans after graduating from high school at this time but he does plan to use his college degree. In his spare time, Mitchell likes to cook, bowl and sing. Mitchell has 2 cats and 1 brother.

Cheyanne Gibson








Cheyanne Gibson is a senior at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being a Link Leader at Central. Outside of school, she participates in the SRL All Dog Breed Rescue. Cheyanne says she likes being able to know she can count on any teacher she has at Central. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending Bethany College. In her spare time, Cheyanne says she is learning ASL.

Taelin Herbel









Taelin Herbel is an eighth grader at South Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the volleyball and basketball team at school. Outside of school, Taelin regularly attends church where she occasionally helps in the nursery and other activities. She says she enjoys science class with Mr. VanDeCreek and having fun shooting in the gym with her friends. After graduating from high school, Taelin says it would be cool to attend KU or any college in Florida and she would like to go for sports. In her spare time, Taelin enjoys playing basketball, volleyball and softball.

Kaydence Dickson is a junior at Salina South High School. She participates in school activities by being involved with Drama Club, New Dawn and Link Crew. She likes participating in all of the different activities provided by the school and is thankful for teachers accommodating and understanding her busy schedule. Outside of school, Kaydence is involved with Meals on Wheels and loves volunteering at the Salina Community Theatre. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending Kansas State University with a goal of becoming a veterinarian but she would also like to get a job with a film set crew. Kaydence has 1 sibling, Javon.

 Gage Gibson
 

Gage Gibson is an eighth grader at Lakewood Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a part of the football and track team. Outside of school, Gage participates in church youth group. Gage says he enjoys vocal, technical education and guitar at Lakewood Middle and says all of the teachers are really good. He says he is undecided what he will do after graduation but will probably attend college somewhere. In his spare time, Gage loves playing football and going to the gym.

Callan Hall








Callan Hall is a freshman at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being the section leader for the Mustang twirlers and playing volleyball and basketball. Outside of school, she is a member of Shannon's Stars twirling club where she is a member of the senior team, has been an instructor for 5 years and has won 21 national titles. She also attends church and is involved in Relay for Life. Callan says she loves getting to see her friends everyday and be able to represent Central High through athletics. After graduating from high school, she would like to attend and twirl at college while studying to become an architect. Callan says she is privileged to be surrounded and supported by such amazing family and friends.

Marin Morris is a sixth grader at South Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the Student Council at South Middle. Outside of school, she participates in soccer, softball, basketball and volleyball. Marin says the best part about school are the teachers because they are so nice and understanding and she says Mrs. Clark is the best teacher ever. Marin also enjoys P.E. because she loves being active. After graduating from high school, she would like to play soccer at KU. In her spare time, Marin is part of the Kansas ODP soccer program. Marin says she has a cat, Pippa, and 2 dogs, River and Ember. She says she also has a wonderful little brother, Ridge.

Maya Daily is a senior at Salina South High School. She participates in school activities by being the debate and forensics officer and co-president, the Politics Club secretary, and a member of National Honor Society. Her favorite things about high school have been learning new material that has genuinely interested her, especially chemistry, and all of the work she has put into debate and forensics. Outside of school, Maya is a student volunteer on the Salina Arts & Humanities Commission and a volunteer at Rolling Hills Zoo. After graduation, Maya plans on attending Kansas State University with the eventual goal of enrolling in medical school. Maya is a sister to Tess, Sophie and Paige Daily and Sophia and Daniel Ibarra.

Griffin Hall
 

Griffin Hall is a sixth grader at Lakewood Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a quarterback for the 6th grade Mustangs and he plans to play football and wrestle next year at Lakewood Middle. Outside of school, he does community service with his Spikes baseball team and he attends church with his family. Griffin says the best part about school is building relationships with the teachers and learning new things everyday. After graduating from high school, he plans on attending college and hopefully playing college baseball or football. In his spare time, Griffin likes playing outside with his friends and new puppy, Bo, and helping his grandpa on the farm.

Finn Jefferson is a sophomore at Salina Central High School. Finn says the best part about school is his geometry class. After graduating from high school, he wants to pursue graphic designing.

Elijah Castro is a seventh grader at South Middle School. He says he enjoys attending sports games for South Middle. Outside of school, he has participated in several events mostly with the Ark Church. Elijah says the best part about school are his classmates. After graduating from high school, he plans on attending college but is undecided where at this time. In his spare time, Elijah enjoys buildings things. He says he has 3 pets.

Keegan Exline







 

Keegan Exline is a senior at Salina South High School. He is a Student Council representative, a member of National Honor Society, SAFE club, and the Cougar tennis and swimming teams. Outside of school, Keegan is also a part of Junior Leadership Salina and Relay for Life. Keegan's favorite part of school is going to swim practice and getting to see Coach Brochtrup and the rest of the team. Outside of school, he spends his free time playing disc golf with the boys. After graduation, Keegan plans on attending Kansas State University to study Biomedical Engineering. Keegan has 3 sisters, Mohri, Maeci and Allyson.

Tezrell Burge is an eighth grader at Lakewood Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the football and basketball team. He is also a peer mediator at Lakewood Middle. Outside of school, Tezrell participates in FCA, Youth Group and his church. He says he likes all the teachers at Lakewood because they are nice, kind and understanding and are fun to be around and always have a positive attitude towards him. After graduating from high school, Tezrell would like to attend Hutchinson Community College Continuing Education to become an EMT. In his spare time, he likes to play sports and watch basketball. He says his favorite NBA player is Tyler Herro from Miami Heat and his favorite baseball team is the St. Louis Cardinals. Tezrell has 5 older brothers and 2 dogs.

Owen Sanderson is a junior at Salina Central High School. He participates in school activities by being on the Central High tennis team for three years. Outside of school, Owen helps deliver meals for the Bill Fekas Christmas dinner and he is also active in his church community projects. He says his favorite subject at Central High is history because he likes learning information from the past. He says his teachers are nice and helpful. After graduating from high school, Owen is looking at colleges in Kansas but has not made a decision yet. In his spare time, he likes going to the lake and to their family farm with his family and friends and playing video games. Owen says he has 1 sister.

Sydni Leonard is an eighth grader at South Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the South Middle School orchestra, Scholars Bowl, basketball, volleyball and guitar. Elizabeth Franco is a senior at Salina South High School. She participates in school activities by being the Student Council Chairperson of  Activities, Tripodium Editor, Yearbook Editor, National Honor Society Treasurer and she is a member of the Cougar tennis, basketball and soccer teams. Lizzy has also been the event lead for Relay for Life. Her favorite part of school has been working on yearbooks, as she gets to put together a whole year into one book for students to look back upon. In her spare time, Lizzy can be found working at Tucson's Steakhouse or playing with her dog, Oso. After graduation, she plans to attend Kansas State University and major in mass communication. Loren Houltberg is a senior at Salina Central High School. He participates in school activities by being on the Central High mens' swim team. Outside of school, he is an Eagle Scout of America with the Boy Scouts. Loren says he loves to learn new things and likes to be creative so he has enjoyed taking art classes for 4 years. He says his favorite class at Central is architecture. After graduating from high school, Loren plans on attending UMKC where he will be taking architecture courses.

Valeria Silvestre is a sixth grader at South Middle School. Outside of school, she participates in a dance club and she shows leadership by helping people with the dance moves. Valeria says the best part about school is that she gets to see her friends everyday. She says her favorite subject at South Middle is math with Mr. Featherston because he makes math fun to learn. After graduating from high school, she would like to attend either ULC or Harvard. In her spare time, Valeria likes to draw, paint and dance.

Zadan Anderson is an eighth grader at Lakewood Middle School. He says his guitar class is his favorite class and passion. Zadan says he enjoys school because it teaches him some of his dreams. Adia Peck is a freshman at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being on the Central High tennis team. Outside of school, Adia volunteered at Dignity Care until COVID-19 happened. Adia says her favorite subject is French because she loves to learn and try new things and her favorite teachers are Mrs. McCartney and Mrs. Denning. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending K-State to get a degree in business marketing and management. In her spare time, Adia loves to bake. Outside of school, Abram plays baseball on the Salina Spikes team where he pitches and plays outfield. Abram says what he likes best about school are the sports such as wrestling and football. He says he likes his teachers as well as the classes that he is in. After graduating from high school, Abram would like to go to Nebraska. Jayda Post is a sophomore at Salina Central High School. She participates in school activities by being on the Central High cheerleading team where she has shown leadership skills to her teammates by showing good sportsmanship and helping others. Outside of school, Jayda sells masks to students at school who might be in need of one or would like different styles to choose from. Jayda says she loves how all the teachers and staff at Central High are all very kind, respectful and welcoming. Jayda says she is shy when you first meet her but she is very outgoing once she gets to know you.

Joselin Cuevas is a senior at Salina South High School. She participates in school activities by being an orchestra member, a Book Club member and she does important work as an ESL translator. Joselin says her teachers are awesome and are always willing to help and give great advice. Outside of school, she serves as a regular pioneer and does volunteer work as a Jehovah's Witness. After graduation, Joselin is interested in studying to become a virtual assistant but she is still exploring her options. Rylan Ellis is a sixth grader at South Middle School. Outside of school, Rylan plays baseball with the Salina Parks and Recreation department. He says his favorite subject at South Middle is math because he has a really nice teacher, Mrs. Lumley, and there is only one correct answer in math. After graduating from high school, he is considering becoming a real estate agent since he is interested in both math and real estate. In his spare time, Rylan likes playing games on his Xbox and playing baseball. Rylan says he has a family of five and a cute schnauzer dog.

Nikolas Highsmith is a senior at Salina South High School. At South High, he has been a member of the soccer team and has been named a team captain. He loves playing soccer as a way to compete and have fun with his friends. Nikolas is thankful he is able to attend school every day to joke around with his friends while also getting schoolwork done. Outside of school, he works in his neighborhood helping mow lawns for those who cannot do it alone. After graduating from high school, Nikolas plans to attend college, but is undecided on where at this time.

Chase Young is a senior at Salina Central High School. He participates in school activities by being the team captain of the bowling team and a member of the choir. Outside of school, Chase participates in Meals on Wheels where he delivers meals to elderly people who cannot leave their homes. Chase says the best part about school is that everyone takes the time and effort into helping the students to graduate. After graduating from high school, Chase plans on attending Barton Community College then transferring to WSU to study business. In his spare time, Chase loves dirt racing and enjoys going on  Friday nights to watch some dirt fly.

Carlee Dye is a seventh grader at South Middle School. She participates in school activities by being a member of the basketball and volleyball team. Outside of school, Carlee participates in the children's ministry at her church. Carlee says she enjoys her FACS class at school the best because they get to bake plus she also enjoys participating in sports. Alexxa loves going to school because of the positive environment at South High and has truly loved her tennis team and how the game has brought her so many close friendships. Outside of school, she volunteers with her CYO group and is a  Relay for Life team captain. After graduating from high school, Alexxa plans on attending Fort Hays State University to study biology, en route to applying to dental school. She says she will be trying out for the track team. Outside of school, Taliah participates in the SE Elite Club volleyball team. She says her favorite subject in school is social studies and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Johnson, a 6th grade teacher. She also likes playing sports for her school. She has no definite plans after graduating from high school. In her spare time, Taliah likes practicing her sports, playing with her dogs and hanging out with her friends and family. Taliah says she loves pets and also likes to help people and animals.

Janae says the best part about school is getting to learn new subjects and experiences. After graduating from high school, she plans on attending college but is undecided where at this time. Royce Tripp is an eighth grader at South Middle School. Royce assists his younger sister who has special needs when his parents are not home. Royce says school is important to him and he does his best on his assignments. He says he likes English class because it is easy for him to get high grades. He also says it is easy to focus on reading because he enjoys it. After graduating from high school, Royce would like to work as a city inspector or a plumber. In his spare time, Royce enjoys watching TV and hanging out with his family.

Andrew Graber is a seventh grader at Lakewood Middle School. Outside of school, Andrew participates at the Salina Community Theatre taking acting classes and vocal and dance classes at the Center for Theatre Arts. He performed with Ballet Salina and Tamara Howe School of Dance as the "Nutcracker" in the Nutcracker Ballet. Andrew says he likes social studies at Lakewood with Mr. Boggs and Mr. Hines and FACS class with Ms. Bonohotal. He also enjoyed going to Lakewood Discovery Park with Mrs. Gaskill. After graduating from high school, he would love to attend a performing arts college like Millikin University or Oklahoma City University studying acting and dance. In his spare time, Andrew loves to read and travel with his parents and sister, Camille. He says he has two miniature dachshunds named Aida and Seeley.

Arturo Mendiola Jr. is a sixth grader at South Middle School. He says that in Texas they do the Top 20 students of the schools and he got 2nd place which is a big thing. Arturo says he likes P.E. a lot at South Middle because they do so many fun activities and Mrs. Weishaar is a very nice teacher. In his spare time, Arturo likes playing soccer, doing art and he says music interests him a lot.

Grace Allen is a junior at Salina South High School. She participates in school activities by being a member of both the South High cross country and track teams, along with serving as South High Student Council junior class secretary. Grace particularly enjoys the social aspect of school, getting to see her friends and teachers every day. Outside of school, she volunteers with the Love, Chloe Foundation, works at YaYa's Euro Bistro as a hostess and server assistant, and spends time with her family's two dogs and pet cat. After graduation, Grace plans to study kinesiology on her way to becoming an occupational therapist. Grace has three sisters, Emily, Katie and Olivia.

Outside of school, MaGali is an assistant coach on her dad's soccer team and she also owns a small business called "Maggie's Crafts". MaGali's favorite subject at Central is culinary and her favorite teachers are Ms. Eades and Mr. Morris. After graduating from high school, she would like to attend Salina Hays Academy for cosmetology and eventually open her own salon. In her spare time, MaGali enjoys listening to music and writing. Dylan Norris is an eighth grader at South Middle School. He participates in school activities by being a member of the South Middle Band, jazz band and the gifted program. Dylan says the best part about school are the great teachers, his friends and the fun classes. After graduating from high school, Dylan says he plans on attending a college that has a good astronomy and astrophysics program. She participates in school activities by being the Peppers Dance  Team senior officer, the Cougar Twirlers section leader, Link Crew leader, a member of the National Honor Society, South High Writing Center and South High Orchestra. Outside of school, Yaritza has been a national and senior competitor with Shannon's Stars Twirling Club and is a Sacred Heart Cathedral volunteer. She enjoys being involved in all of her extracurricular activities and loves her dog, Snowy. Yaritza has two brothers, Eduardo and Ricardo. After graduating from high school, Yaritza plans to pursue a degree in nursing.
