SPS is recognizing substitute workers. All certified and classified substitutes who work a total of 200 hours each per semester will receive a retention incentive payment of $250 at the end of that semester. To qualify:
- hours must be worked,
- any combination of classified, certified or nursing substitute hours may be used, and
- hours will be calculated as of the last student contact day of each semester.
Payments will be made on the next regular substitute pay date in the month following the last student contact day of the semester.
