Our third annual Building Bridges event will take place on November 9, from 5:15-7:00 p.m. This dynamic, free event brings together community members, businesses, industry, families and educators to discuss Career and Technical Education (CTE).
Together, we will tour places that make downtown Salina unique and discuss how to strengthen Salina’s culture through fine arts and CTE.
- Snacks, prepared by South High culinary students, will be provided.
- Guests will hear from Travis Young, CEO of Vortex.
- Students in construction, animal science, welding, medical investigations and marketing who will discuss their CTE projects.
This invitation is open to your colleagues, family, or associates—to anyone who wants to help Salina Public Schools educate and prepare the next generations of employees, leaders, and entrepreneurs right here in Salina.
