At the February 13 regular Board of Education meeting, Matthew Brown was approved as the director of information technology and security.
Brown has 12 years of school experience. His experience includes being a middle school science teacher, middle school principal, coach and activities director.
“Matthew’s understanding of educational technology combined with his hands-on experience working with students aligns perfectly with this position,” explained Linn Exline, superintendent.
Brown earned his degrees at Fort Hays State University (FHSU), including a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in middle school science. His master’s degree in Instructional Technology and his Endorsement in Educational Administration are from FHSU.
