Salina Public Schools second graders got a sneak peek behind the curtain on Friday, February 16 at the ISIS Shrine Circus, who performed this past weekend at Tony’s Pizza Events Center. A learning experience, all 497 students heard about the history of the circus and previewed a few of the acts including clowns, tightrope walkers, elephants and more. The field trip is sure to be a memorable experience that fosters imagination, curiosity and an appreciation for the performing arts.
Students were treated to a special lunch before heading back to school where they received a free ticket to attend the full show. The free ticket, lunch and bussing was provided by the ISIS Shrine. Thank you for your partnership in making this experience possible for our students.
